Dr. Patricia LePertel is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Licensed in New York, and certified by the National Certification Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) ®, she is also certified in Hypnotherapy.
Dr. LePertel holds a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from California's Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine and a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM); A four-year full-time graduate program with specializations in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, Dr. LePertel is certified in clean needle technique with the College Council of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). She is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and a member of the New York Acupuncture Society (ASNY).
Prior to pursuing her Doctoral degree, Dr. LePertel completed her Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology training at the PCOM Clinic in New York City as an experienced trainee, where she treated nearly 400 patients, she also performed rotations to the Neurology and Pain Management Unit at the Manhattan Veterans Hospital, the Family Health Institute of Manhattan, the Fortune Society, and Housing HIV / AIDS Center "in Brooklyn. She has worked with several supervisors in many specialties to gain a well-rounded experience with her diagnostic and practical skills.
Dr. LePertel always pursues an integrative approach to healing and well-being for any condition being treated, and with all patients. She is committed to the privilege of serving each of her patients with integrity, enthusiasm, compassion and responsibility.
Dr. LePertel was born and raised in Paris, France, where she graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris (CNSMDP) with a First Prize in Dance. She is bilingual in French and English. In New York, prior to her career in Oriental Medicine, Patricia worked in business management and real estate. She maintains her real estate broker license in the state of NY.
